A person's teaching, learning, expertise, and knowledge are each shaped by their lived experiences. When we enter into a learning community, it is important that we find ways to more effectively see through the eyes of others by learning a bit of their different experiences as related to the topic under consideration. Including a highlight of a related lived experience within a group discussion or a professional journal reflections will be an essential way each will contribute to co-construction of knowledge as community of inquiry this semester.
This video shares key highlights of my own lived experiences which shape my teaching and learning, setting a stage as we enter into a new season of community inquiry together.
